Skateboards as Art?

Ok i am normally opposed to a skateboard being an "Art Item," but, I am guilty of it.  A few years ago I did one for the No Dice art show in PA.  It came out rad.  I was stoked with it.

Is it blasphemy to do a skateboard as a wall hanger?  I don't know, i'm conflicted...

this is the one i did, I was stoked how it came out.  

I was considering doing a run of 5 more, all different but similar.

any feedback would be rad.
