All your FXR's are slow.
So, I didnt make it out to Cinncinati this past week, but luckily my good buddy Barry Lacour, (From Top Shelf) made it out and took a few pix of the one bike there I really would have wanted to see.
This is a 132" Turbo X-Wedge in an FXR Chassis. Yeah you read that right. Yes I built an X-Wedge bike, I love the motor. Ask anyone who has riden my X-Wedge how much power it has. Mine is 117", this one is 132" and has a GIANT TURBO on it. This bike was built by none other than one of my heros Skeeter Todd. And, at the rear wheel this bike should put out more than 225 HP. Yeah 225HP.

Yes, boys and girls, this is your chance to own, still to this day, the only traditional style chopper powered by the new S&S X-Wedge! Woo Hoo!

Some Facts about it.
- It was built for S&S to introduce the engine to Japan at Cool Breaker 2007.
- It took 2nd place at the ride in show at Cool Breaker.
- It was also featured at Mooneyes HRCS 2007 as well.
- In 2008 it took first place in its class at the Grand National Roadster Show as well as winning the one and only:
- Outstanding Engineering Motorcycle Award at the GNRS as well
- Then I was asked to have it be one of the 50 S&S Anniversarry bikes and it was included in the S&S 50th celebration in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.
- Then it was at AMD in Sturgis where it won the Champions Park Pick award.
The bike is one of the funnest and fastest bikes I have ever riden. I don't want to let it go, but I have other projects I want to start on.
- It was featured in The Horse Backstreet Choppers magazine
- In the Hot Bike AMD special magazine
- Hardcore Chopper Japan magazine
- Small Features in most of the coverage of the S&S 50th
- Its in the newest issue of Cycle world, in my eyes the greatest press achievement possible.
the bike itself, was hand fabbed by me with the help of a few of my good friends.
- Cast "Powered By S&S" Gas tank
- Prototype, pegs, air cleaner, wheels
- One off X-Wedge Oil Tank
- One off Frame and controls
And since everyone is broke, I have also dropped the price from my original asking price.
so, if you are interested send me an email and we can talk.

X-Wedge parts...
So, I am designing my own rocker boxes for the S&S X-Wedge. I have a ton of drawings of what i am doin and i figure i just need to start cuttin and makin em. So, I start with one of the boxes off my X-Wedge mock up motor, they are way bigger than they need to be so I am makin a much slimmer more industrial set of covers...

But, i started by droppin the bolts down and makin a base to bolt it to that i can clamp in a mill vise.

now it gives me more stuff i can cut off with a band saw, to get my base for the gasket surface...

and yup, thats Pat, holdin down good ole Canal street!
and yes Rich, i grabbed your wheel...

Okay, I have a blog.
here goes...
I was up in Iowa and Wisconsin this past weekend, got to run an S&S X-Wedge bike on the dragstrip
Fuckin Sweet as hell!
In case you are wondering why I got to do that, its because I was going up to La Crosse , WI to take the S&S VFI training, since I am building an S&S X-Wedge bike to debut the motor to japan this October!
Im stoked...
