This was mild compared to other shit back in the day. People sometimes forget what "the scene" was back then, not all "brotherly love". The irony in this photo is the over the top reference to the "master race" yet the bike is a Honda. Tom McMullen had nothing on the "hard core" chopper scene compared to the underground pubs at the time. Tom, was just trying to tap in to the hate and make a dollar.
They actually used to burn giant crosses on the only road leading into my hometown as a kid...freaked me out. They'd still be all smoldering the next morning in the field across from where I caught the bus. It did get "the message" across, though... Yeah, times sure were different.
