about my frame question below...

since im actually thinking about it and looking, it appears to be a J&M raciing products frame...
I think...

that frame have the oiltank in the frame under the tank behind the neck area ??? if so its a c&J

OK cause yer my boy.... it's a C & J Frame.. can tell from the swing arm but J & M is super similar... it"s the single shock C & J..... God damn you... I'm gonna beat you to it, found a motor combo already and did my homework on the frame... mines gonna kick your bikes ass!!!!

constant updates with lot of pics of this Sportster project would be fun.
I know it will be VERY great as all of your project are.
I hope you're planning a cast aluminum flattrack tail for it.
keep us updated.
maybe you will cast some aluminum flattrack style mufflers about 75% scale would be cool.
a flattrack frame with the tight geomety, short-ass wheelbase
maybe a set of vintage FOX airshocks....
mid 70's Maico or Husqvarna cast aluminum fork lowers...
solid stock aluminum 7/8 bars...
