Dude...the cutaways of those things have to be seen to be believed...totally wicked!
Actually Dave Twin Wasp R-1830motors were in planes like the B-24 Liberator Bomber and the DC-3. The fighters like the F4-U Coursair, P-47 Thunberbolt and others used the R-2800 Double Wasp with 18 cylinders.
