I saw the master at a showing of Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill, many a moon ago, I asked him, "you always have a lot of European sports cars in your films but what's your favorite American car/" He replied, "A GMC pickup truck." I also asked him, "how come God doesn't make women like yours anymore?" He mumbled something about, "he does, you're just not looking hard enough." He was already getting dementia at that point but it didn't stop him from assgrabbing my friend Liz every chance he got.
